ABOUT US
Since 2002, Wavelength Marketing Communications has been an undisputed leader in the healthcare sector, providing innovative Public Relations and social media solutions to some of the most well-known surgical societies, Royal Colleges, trade unions, medical device manufacturers, and charities.
Wavelength Marketing Solutions
Founded by Tingy Simoes, whose career spans over 25 years and 3 continents, our team specialises in securing headlines across the mainstream and trade press; in areas such as nutrition, technology, joint care, sports performance, detox and rehab, eye and dental health, mental wellbeing, pain relief, women’s media and consumer.
Our team has launched cutting-edge technologies from intra-ocular and Upper-GI implants, to aesthetic treatments and lasers, innovative weight loss approaches and revolutionary healthcare software. We are experienced in surgical simulation training, international education involvement and OTC products. We are experienced in unveiling global news and holding international press conferences revealing the latest advances in healthcare.
We are a news generation machine! We don’t just release the news – we create it.

Crisis Communications
From medical device scandals including hydrogel, soya, polyurethane, textured implants, to PIP, ALCL and Breast implant illness (Bii), we have been at the forefront – ‘in the trenches’ -of preserving professions and medical device manufacturers’ reputations.
We have ‘insider’ contacts across countries, regulators and national societies which enables us to coordinate multiple parties for official responses and statements across the world.
Our work on the PIP implant crisis earned us the ‘Crisis Communications’ award by the Public Relations Consultants’ Association (PRCA) and MD Tingy Simoes was commissioned to write the first-ever PR manual for surgeons and professionals in aesthetic medicine, “How to Cut it in the Media”.
Social Media and Creative Strategies
With complex briefs that span trade and consumer requirements, our team has straddled demands to provide social media and event campaigns that appeal both to medical professionals and the public at large.
We have provided wildly successful social media feeds that appeal to healthcare providers as well as service users; with innovative content such as the ‘Impleo Twist’ (for a breast implant proving nearly indestructible) gaining followers from around the world; to a creative art gallery event utilising actors showcasing a range of modern maladies – such as ‘Netflix and Ill’ and ‘Amazon Spine’ to bring attention to physical pain conditions brought upon our sedentary lifestyles.
Wavelength even launched a viral trend on ‘destroy and donate’ aimed at women who felt held back by the symbolism of certain objects, in benefit to a ovarian cancer charity; released statistics showing how social media was affecting users’ memories; as well as a quirky campaign for people seeking to ‘mini-detox’ in a luxurious rehab centre in Switzerland.
